Embarkment was another effort to communicate the complexity of growth and progress in life. The pathway image was taken at Quail Hollow State Park in Ohio. Text repeating "one step forward two steps back two steps forward one step back" overlays the pathway. This was part of my solo show entitled NEXT at the Massillon Museum in 2008-9.
